The MININGSX INDEX FUND Investment Objective

The basic premise of the mining sector investment strategy is a strategy that seeks to uncover global mining opportunities (small to large) by investing in companies that represent value opportunities and/or growth potential through their ability to establish production or increase production capacity at a reasonable cost or are likely to make a precious metal discovery somewhere in the world.

Tartan Global’s investment process combines a top-down macro approach and a bottom-up research approach (applied by an investment team with technical geology and mining backgrounds).

 Low cash costs of production

 Growth potential

 Proprietary transactions in mining

 High quality experienced management

 Operating flexibility against volatility in the commodity markets
