The Tartan Global Fund Managers
Richard Ham is a FINRA registered Investment Advisor and founder/principal in Tartan Capital Advisors, a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) and Tartan Global Advisors (Cayman) Ltd. Representing Tartan Funds, LLC, and Tartan Global Funds which are multiple U.S. domestic and international hedge funds, which include MININGSX Index Fund as the fund manager.
Mr. Ham has been in the financial services industries for 41 years and corporate management for 37 years. Has been President and CEO of private and public companies in the banking, insurance and reinsurance, real estate development and oil and gas industries.
Mr. Ham attended the University of Nebraska and the University of Phoenix for a Bachelor of Science in Management.
David M. Syme is a FINRA registered Investment Advisor and a founder/principal in the Tartan Capital Advisors Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) and the Tartan Global Fund. Mr. Syme is also a securities attorney with a focus on securities, corporate transactions, business transactions. Mr. Syme is currently also a founder and partner in the law firm Ehrenworth & Syme, Attorneys at Law, with offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Mr. Syme is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley in 1981 and earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and then attended University of San Francisco law school to receive a Juris Doctorate degree at with a focus in Securities Regulation in 1987.
